Captain Horace "Horatio" Quelch is a captain of a Singularity ship, and a Lord of Law. He appears in the Second Ether series and is most often seen in human form. Occasionally his true form is glimpsed and it is described as asymmetrical, crystalline, and insect-like. Quelch is one of the few examples of an evil Lord of Law. He worships Law as the Original Insect, and seeks to destroy Chaos forever and damn the Multiverse to a state of dead stasis.
Quelch may or may not be the same being as Kwll of the Lost Gods. Evidence of this is Quelch's "true" form, described as crystaline, insectoid, with a huge grin and six fingers on each hand.
