The Lords of Law confronting the Chaos Lords
The Lords of the Higher Worlds are the Angels, Gods and Goddesses of the Multiverse. These include The Lords of Law and the forces of The Singularity, the Chaos Lords and the Chaos Engineers, the Grey Lords of Neutrality, and possibly the Lost Gods, the Dead Gods and the Fhoi Myore. They fight to control the Cosmic Balance or to destroy it. In the truest of senses, they are merely very ancient, manipulative players of the Game of Time.
It is entirely possible for a mortal player in the Game of Time to achieve virtual godhood, and this has thrown some suspicion on the true nature of the Gods. The Lords of the Higher Worlds are not the only Gods in the Multiverse, as there are Elemental and Animal Gods as well.
